Oil on Board

An original mid century oil on canvas titled "Souvenir De Lune No 2".

This work by Algerian expressionist Nicolas Rin (1919-2005) depicts the moon and its reflection across water. Texture is created in a palette of layered greys and blue with its yellow centre adding a softened light. Painted on canvas and finished with a brown paper frame to the edge by the artist. Signed and Dated.
