TRAVEL CLOCK
BD109
$ 475.00 USD
Handsome Art Deco travel clock in dark green textured leather from England. The piece has a white circular ceramic face with hand-painted gold and black lettering, and which tucks neatly into its attached carrying case.
8 DAYS is written in fine black lettering at the center of the clock’s face. This refers to how the clock needs to be wound once every eight days with a key. The key, secured to the base of the clock’s face, is wound by a fluted gold bead.
A beautifully understated object with light, gentle wear. The clock is in working order, and keeps time well.
England, circa 1940
Dimensions: 4W x 4D x 4H
